Bao Dang is an architect and founding director of Bao Dang Studio, established in 2023, with a focus on delivering culturally rich and thoughtfully refined spaces of architecture.

Born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, educated in Australia and trained in England, Bao is a U.K registered Architect (ARB and RIBA Chartered) with over 8 years of architectural experience. His design ethos is rooted in a research-based, context-driven principle, with explorative rigour throughout the project’s development. This rationalised experimental design methodology is informed by his time working on landmark international projects of various scales, complexities and typologies under renowned architects such as Kengo Kuma & Associates (Tokyo) and as a Project Lead and Associate at Foster + Partners (London), where his experience ranges from industry-leading cultural, commercial and hospitality projects in Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

He draws upon his professional and personal experiences as a bridge between the cultural design sensibilities of both the East and West, and continues this exploration for opportunities of cross-cultural influences in each project. His work focuses on the elevated integration between contrasting and unexpected relationships, balancing the traditional with contemporary, modern luxury with quiet elegance, and architectural modernity inspired by the history and culture of each project.
