Bao Dang Studio was appointed for architectural and interior design for a family house in West London, transforming an under-utilised reception room into a space for peaceful relaxation for the adults of the house. The design is robust to achieve multiple functions, from a space for parental retreat, to a guest-reception lounge, to a quiet study zone. A warm mid-height wall and wooden shelf anchors the room, whilst allowing space for styling. A generous work desk surface spans wall to wall, with storage above and below to meet the family needs.
